Hey guys my producer and rapping life partner M.U.T.T. has released yet another insane track.  Sometimes after hearing some of the music he produces I worry the world is destined to end violently and soon.  If this indeed is the case, someone needs to make sure that survivor’s find M.U.T.T.’s laptop.  The amount of music this being has created needs to be cataloged.  Every couple years or so his computer crashes and then he has to start all over. Here’s the latest joint from M.U.T.T. the track Torn featuring myself.

M.U.T.T. and I have done a lot of work together.  Our first project was a collaborative Mixtape Big Kitty & The Beast- Born in the Bass.  It was a more tongue in cheek and upbeat sort of tape.  M.U.T.T. aka Big Kitty didn’t produce any of the music instead he scoured the internet for particular themed instrumental tracks and we created our mixtape entirely from other peoples music.

After Born in the Bass, M.U.T.T. produced two records for me first was the four track EP DarkSide of the DOOM.  A B-list horror movie in rap form, it is definitely the darkest thing I’ve ever done and comes from a place of deep negativity and depression.  Not to mention winter.

After going that dark the natural progression was to slowly find the light, well that didn’t entirely happen.  However the production and content of Hank in POWER my first solo LP a concept album based around the notion of POWER and how it effects the world and it’s owner.  All this while using clips from the 70’s iconic satire NETWORK starring Peter Finch, Faye Dunaway, William Holden, and Robert Duval.  It’s my favorite film of all time and I’ve always felt it resonated even stronger today than it did when it came out.  M.U.T.T.’s production of course being so cinematic it was meant to be.  My engineer Mike Lust didn’t have to do much to fit the audio from NETWORK into M.U.T.T.’s production they dropped in seamlessly.
